TANZANITE FOUNDATION EVENTO NO BRASIL 28.04.2011

Nesta quinta-feira (dia 28), das 14h às 20h, no Real Parque, em São Paulo, a designer de joias Leticia Linton , Andrea Funaro e Georgia Corona recebem a Embaixadora da Tanzanite Foundation, a sul-africana Hayley Henning, para exposição de joias e palestras, às 14h e às 19h, com coquetel para convidados.


Na ocasião, estará presente o cônsul da Austrália no Brasil e sua esposa. Parte da renda obtida com a venda das joias será revertida para a Foundation Tanzanite.


BIOGRAPHY
Hayley Henning heads up the Tanzanite Foundation in the United States. The Tanzanite Foundation is the Marketing and Public Relations arm of TanzaniteOne, a leading producer, and first-world mining operation responsible for up to 75% of the world’s tanzanite supply As an industry supported association, the Tanzanite Foundation is dedicated to promoting and protecting, as well as providing education about this exquisite and rare gemstone. The Tanzanite Foundation also provides Hayley with a platform to work with some of the top jewelry designers in the world, while giving back to the community at the source. Through numerous projects that link the sale of beautiful and rare Tanzanite jewelry pieces, the Tanzanite Foundation has built schools, a medical clinic and a community center in the tanzanite mining areas. They are also responsible for supplying fresh water to these communities.




In a jewelry career spanning over 15 years, Hayley’s focus has been on colored stones, diamonds and jewelry in the luxury marketplace. Her passion for gemstones and jewelry was ignited in her native South Africa where she started her career with African Gemstone Marketing (AFGEM) in Johannesburg. Since then, her interest in exploring new cities and lifestyles has taken her through London, Miami and then to New York, where she has lived for the last 9 years. As if to come full circle, Hayley ended up back with her real love; Tanzanite.
